There are a lot of benefits to using Word Press. It’s becoming very popular for a blogging tool, and when people see that your blog is on Word Press they generally assume you know what you’re doing, because Word Press is very well respected.
Word Press is also quite versatile. It’s designed to power blogs, but the blogs that it powers are so sophisticated that they can look like regular Web sites, too.
You can set up a front page that’s static and then set up a link to ‘articles’ or something similar on another page and put all of your blog posts there. You’ll want to write things that will be helpful to the people you’re trying to attract, but you should be able to get their attention fairly easily with a Word Press blog that really looks professional. It’s also inexpensive, with the plethora of free themes available.
People think of Word Press as only a blog, but it’s very powerful as a content management system, and that makes it better than the other blogging platforms out there, because they can only deal with blogging. They don’t let you make static front pages or anything else, and so they often don’t look as professional and as well done as Word Press sites do.
If you really want to impress people with your blog, Word Press is the way to go.
